As I get organized for Saturday Studio, I came across this post by a young 14-year old photographer. He specializes in making these amazing visual stories by using his gift to imagine miniature worlds – and then making them come ‘alive’ —- His short interview is a glimpse inside the life of a boy raised by artists. I can’t help but wonder what it would be like if more children/youth had access to the materials and resources to express themselves in ways like Zev has with his visual artistry.  What would schooling be like if more classrooms embraced time to spend on making such imaginative stories — which come alive via digital design and creative, exploratory methods? I admire and appreciate Zev’s work – I plan on using his story to help inspire the children and adults that come to Saturday Studio in the upcoming weeks!
