Research Interests

  1. Making with Media. I am currently examining the intersection between new media and personal interests with young children and adults. Currently, I am interested in exploring how nonformal programs/environments can be a site for new opportunities in teacher education and curriculum development.
  2. Media Arts and Elementary Education. I am also interested in examining cross-curricular methods for incorporating media arts across the elementary curriculum with a focus on developing personal power and interests via relationships and environmental design.
